San Francisco, Part II (and beyond)

As a new blogger, I’m definitely struggling to find my voice and my groove. I’m learning that blogging is best done in the moment, rather than a few days after the fact.  Of course, that kind of defeats the whole purpose of being in the moment.  This is my struggle.

And so this post is about six days old.  The past week has been filled with Northern California goodness, and I’m going to let some photos do the talking.  I’m afraid my writing might lack some of the freshness and energy that these people and places deserve.

Many thanks to the San Francisco Center for the Book, and to Eric Johnson, proprietor of Iota Press.

And I’ll end on this note: I met Ben Smythe last night in San Francisco.  He does amazing, positive things.  Listen to him, and believe it.

I so love what you are doing, it makes me smile. I love your passion and the beautiful texture of letter press. I was hoping to be at the renegade fair in this weekend but it’s not going to work out. Keep rollin and doing your thing
